Sports Enhancement Program

Athletes today are more competitive than ever. Athletes are stronger, faster and better trained than in previous years. In order to be at a peak level of competition, athletes are looking for ways to develop themselves into the best they can be.

The sports enhancement program at XCEL Performance, Health, and Wellness is specified to each individual athlete based on the results from the Functional Movement Screen (FMS). We build programs that will best help the athlete to excel that their sport by building strength, endurance, flexibility and improving functional movement.

The success of a sports specific program is in the design and implementation of all fitness components. To develop and maintain optimal performance our athletic programs are designed by a Certified Strength an Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). This insures that each athlete will have a program specific for them during pre-season, in-season and post-season.

With the demands of sport on the body, proper and adequate nutrition and recovery are needed to perform at a maximal level of competition. Eating the proper macronutrient and micronutrient rich foods to help fuel and recover the body will help the athlete on and off the field. Along with exercise the Sports Enhancement Program will help guide the athlete to the proper nutritional diet that will maximize performance.
